Gorgeous framed limited edition prints from the studio of Gianfranco Missiaja.
Missiaja was born in Venice in 1947, his art always immersed itself in his home city, eventually specialising in Venice's Commedia Dell'arte and it's various characters, developing alongside an increasing interest in abstractionism as demonstrated here over a series of four images of a masked musician.
The Minstrel lithograph (214 of 300 editions) gradually deconstructs to a line drawing over the four images, or develops, of course, if you look at them another way!
Beautifully framed by Churzee Galleries which dates the framing to the late 1980's, Missiaja was producing similar work through the 1970's and 1980's
Each print is a good size at 67.5cm x 51 cm, together they make a beautiful, fascinating display
